Pinhole glasses were made to help alleviate the strain that we put on our eyes without the hassle of going through eye exams and having to purchase expensive prescription lenses. They are relatively inexpensive and can be used by just about anybody.They are an especially good therapy for people that suffer from astigmatism, nearsightedness, farsightedness and CVS. Since these vision problems are generally due to eye strain, pinhole glasses can help greatly in relieving the stress that our eyes suffer from. They also lessen the stress that our eyes experience when we use the computer since many of the ‘unnecessary’ rays that are emitted by the monitor are blocked out by the opaque lenses. The long term benefit of this lessening of stress and strain to the eyes is that the conditions we had will either improve or be removed completely! Now, isn’t that something to look forward to?!Pinhole glasses also help train us to take better care of our eyes. Proper use of these glasses trains us to work only in optimum conditions for our sense of sight. After a period of using pinhole glasses regularly, good reading and work habits are formed. We then don’t need to consciously remind ourselves to take measures to take care of our eyes because it becomes almost automatic! These glasses are simple and easy to use. All one needs to do is put them on and that’s it! As with any other therapy, some time for adjustment must be given. They should not be used when driving or when walking around. If you are wearing prescription glasses though, additional reading and information gathering should be done so that it can be ascertained that you can use pinholes too.The benefits that pinhole glasses can give are great! Just thinking that I am caring for my eyes just a little bit more by wearing pinhole glasses is worth the investment! After all, our sense of sight is something that is so important to our lives, why not care for them.
